Consultation
We collaborate with school districts to create environments where every student can thrive. Our consultation services guide the implementation of inclusive practices across grade levels and content areas, ensuring equitable access to high-quality instruction. Working alongside educators, administrators, and district leaders, we deliver tailored strategies, hands-on coaching, and professional learning that align with each district’s goals and culture. Behavioral Support Strategies & Plan Development (BIPs & FBAs)
Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) provide specialized behavioral support through evidence-based assessments and interventions. We work with schools, teachers, families, and students to develop Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) that address each learner’s unique needs.
These plans focus on fostering positive behavior, promoting inclusion, and building sustainable strategies for long-term success in the classroom.
Training & Professional Development
Strong schools start with empowered educators. Our training programs equip staff with practical, research-based strategies to support diverse learners and create inclusive classrooms. From managing behavioral challenges to promoting academic, social, and emotional growth, BECS provides educators with actionable tools that foster success for every student.
From State Standards to Student Success
BECS trains all staff using OSPI’s Paraeducator General Certificate curriculum — including the Fundamental Course of Study and Advanced Certificate programs — ensuring every team member meets Washington State standards. Districts can also contract with us to provide these same trainings to their own staff, including specialized modules for Special Education and Multilingual Learners. All sessions are available in-person or virtually, giving schools flexibility and accessibility in professional learning.
New Hire & Refresher Trainings
School environments are constantly evolving. We offer ongoing sessions to onboard new hires and provide refresher training for current staff. These 2–3 hour sessions are available virtually or in-person, keeping educators informed and confident in their roles.
Specialized Deep-Dive Training Modules
Focused sessions provide targeted learning in key areas such as:
- Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Trauma-Informed Support
- Inclusive Co-Teaching
- Data Collection & Progress Monitoring
Each 90-minute session offers practical, in-depth training ideal for supporting staff through specific challenges or areas of growth.
